There are two jackpot classes, Western and Hunter Pleasure in which only 3 year old horses are allowed. These classes give your horse a wonderful oppportunity for some show experience in the fall of thier 3 year old year.
There are 3 Futurity classes in each division ( English, Country English, Hunter and Western.) Junior Horse, Rider 17 & Under, and Rider 18 & over : there is also a pleasure driving class.
If you do not see your horse's sire on the list, but would like to have your horse eligible for this profitable futurity, contact the sire's owners and let them know you would like thier stallion to be MAAB nominated.
There are no renomination fees. All of the entry fees are added to the jackpot. MAAB guarantees $500 to the first place winner (except the 3 year old jackpot classes). The payouts are consistently high becaouse the futurity is funded by 25% of the Stallion Service Auction, 100% of the performance nominations, and 100% of the entry fees.
